Insurance
Most "normal" travel insurance policies will not give you the full and specific cover you need.  It is mandatory that you have medical and rescue cover. You will get basic cover through joining an Alpine Club, but you must check the territorial limits and ensure that you are satisfied with the amount of cover that is provided. Most people take insurance with the BMC .

Health And Fitness

Be realistic about your fitness, level of skill and your limitations and try not to aim for an adventure that may be too challenging or too stressful. It is recommended that in the weeks leading up to your course or holiday you should undertake a regular exercise programme to build your fitness gradually.

 

Cancellation

In the event of late cancellation (up to 3 weeks/21 days before commencement) I will refund 40% of the total fee, thereafter no refunds can be made.   

 

Cancellation insurance cover at BMC is recommended to all clients.

Deposit
Deposit is 25% of the total fee and bookings are only confirmed when your deposit is received.  Deposits will be refunded less a £25 booking charge if the booking is cancelled more than 8 weeks [56 days] before the start date.
